I love some of the wallpapers from the 60s and 70s.  The best ones are so hard to come by now so just for fun I've designed my own called "Daisy Showers".  If money, time and space wasn't an issue, I'd love to have these screen printed as rolls of wallpaper...I'll just have to make do with using them to decorate a dollhouse for now!

some little daisy prints for a simple fabric repeat.

and a design tweak on one of my web pages!

new website!

I've been dying to redesign my website for a while and I'm so pleased to finally have it finished. Well, after lots of painstaking, fiddley tweaking and changing here it is!

Friday, 13 January 2012

I'm really enjoying the post Christmas calm as I'm able to get down all the ideas I've had swimming around for ages. I couldn't hold back any longer from designing a doll's house. This will be a house shaped cushion (with front of house on one side and interior on the back) available in 2 colourways, each one also comes with its own family!

Tuesday, 10 January 2012 accessories!

I could go on forever designing these! I look forward to seeing how they turn out on fabric.

new dolls

I finished designing these 2 little friends last night. They will each be made into stuffed dolls for my Etsy shop! I'd also like to make accessories to go with each one...not decided what yet.

design commission

I've been working on this range which I was commissioned to do for some baby products (I don't want to reveal too much at this stage). I've really enjoyed using the more muted tones for a change...a little more grown up than my usual work!

dutch gables and a big blue house

dutch gables
First of all a very happy 2012! This is a new design inspired by my nostalgia for Holland. I've always admired the architecture there and I feel so lucky to have family in The Netherlands who I look forward to visiting later this year.
Once they arrive on fabric (as well as a larger scale "blue house"), I'll be making them all into individual house shaped cushions for my Etsy shop!
