girls' room - vintage wallpapered shelves

The weather has been so miserable here, but I find it really cheerful doing up kids's rooms!  I recently finished the girls' kitchen area with this little shelf unit. I painted a wine box in "Hibiscus" by Designers Guild, then pasted on cut-outs of jars from my vintage wallpaper collection.

The dollhouse shaped display shelf is also covered with wallpaper, but the one I used for the garden is very old and unfortunately tore really easily (hence the big crease down the middle and tearing along the edge!) I'll post details of my son's room soon.

N.B due to a fault, I've not been able to leave comments on other blogs which don't have pop up comments window enabled.

Love the kitchen area. The shelves with your wallpaper design, and also the green vintage wallpaper with the flowers. Love it!

All gorgeous as always - what with all your vintage fabric toys, and their Wendy house, I suspect your kids have the most retro and colourful rooms of any children in the world! Thanks for the lovely little Gocco prints by the way, I love them! x

I see your beautifully stylish and organised children's rooms, and then I peep into my son's, which is a sea of Lego, and my daughter's, which is a complete tip ( she's seventeen) and I sigh...

Oh that little shelf is lovely as is your wonderful wallpaper. Thankyou for the little print- it arrived during a miserable two weeks of sick kids and rain and absolutely made my day. I can't wait until you start releasing your wallpaper range! melx
