patchwork ball

I've spotted a few of these patchwork balls around and always had the urge to have a go...well this is my first attempt at making one for my almost 1 year old twin girls. Its made from 12 pentagons and each face is a different vintage fabric. Its nice to find something fun, simple and safe to make for babies and a great way to use my huge collection of tiny scraps I can't bring myself to part with!

How cool! was it difficult to put together?

No, it was surprisingly easy. Just make 2 flower shapes each made up of 6 pentagons, then fit them together!
